Glancing Blow?

2:10 a.m.  

After a couple of hours of sleep (less of an issue than I would have predicted ensconced here in my plywood cocoon), I awoke to find Hurricane Omar has strengthened to a blustery Category 3 storm (winds approaching 120 mph).  Thankfully, though, it has also taken a bit of a jog to the East.  Being such a tiny target has its advantages and we might just miss the worst of the storm.  

For now, power (incredibly) remains and all is well.  I have inserted my own amateurish analysis of the latest satellite photos.  From the weather desk, I'm Joe Breen.  Now here's Skip with the Sports.
